Attend an accredited institution of higher education
Plans to pursue major coursework in the area of international studies, including but not limited to international affairs, foreign languages, overseas exchange programs, multicultural studies, or related areas
Attend an accredited college, university or trade school in Pennsylvania
Must be ranked in the top 40% of the graduating class
Must demonstrate financial need
Preference given to applicants who have participated in at least one extracurricular activity
Secondary preference given to applicants who are or whose parents/guardians are customers of Journey Bank. This is not a requirement to be considered for the award.
Attend, full-time, an accredited institution of higher education, preferably in Pennsylvania
Exhibits good citizenship and community involvement
Will have unmet financial need
Is not a recipient of other major scholarship awards
Other than a strong potential for success, such factors as class rank and grade point average will not be criteria in making a selection unless in the judgment of the selection committee such factors are needed to distinguish between multiple potential candidates
Award paid over 4 years as long as recipient remains in good academic standing at their college/university
Attend, full-time, an accredited institution of higher education, preferably in Pennsylvania
Pursuing higher education goals in secondary education (preferably to teach Spanish)
Or study Spanish in preparation for a career that would utilize the Spanish language
Exhibits good citizenship and community involvement
Will have unmet financial need
Is not a recipient of other major scholarship awards

Graduating student at a high school (public, private, parochial, or home-schooled) located in Lycoming, Montour, Northumberland, Snyder or Union County
Attend an accredited college, university or vocational school that offers a two (2) year or four (4) degree or certification program
Applicants must complete an online application and answer an additional essay question that is determined by FCFP staff on a year-to-year basis
