Qualifications
- Attend, full-time, an accredited institution of higher education, preferably in Pennsylvania
- Plan to purse a course of study in education. Preference, but not required, to applicants pursuing an education for children with special needs
- Exhibits good citizenship, be a leader with a sense of humor, be grounded, show tolerance of others, is honest and has integrity
- Is involved in the community and makes a difference in the school community
- Will have unmet financial need
- Other than a strong potential for success, such factors as class rank and grade point average will not be criteria in making a selection unless in the judgment of the selection committee such factors are needed to distinguish between multiple potential candidates
