- Plan to pursue a career in education
- Demonstrates active involvement working or volunteering with children outside of school and typical class responsibilities
- Demonstrates participation in the arts while in school and/or through extracurricular activities
- Is in good academic standing and demonstrates potential for success
- Will have unmet financial need
