Qualifications

  • Attend an accredited college, university or vocational school or program
  • Must demonstrate leadership abilities as demonstrated by being an officer or ranking official in a school club, class, athletic team or extracurricular activity
  • Preference shall be given to a graduating senior who participates in the annual Envirothon

  • Must maintain at least a “B” average, overall, for all high school coursework

  • Area of study in the field of agriculture
  • If no qualified applicant, consideration in the field of natural resource management
  • If no qualified applicant, consideration in the field of environmental education
  • Must be a child or stepchild of persons who are actively engaged in the career of farming within Sullivan County, PA
  • Must maintain an average of C+ or better throughout high school career
  • Has experience with community service and volunteering
  • Unmet financial need may be considered

Qualifications

  • Applicants must be a graduate of a private or public high school or an accredited home school or cyber school program who resides in Clinton, Columbia, Lycoming, Montour, Northumberland, Tioga, Snyder, Sullivan, or Union County
  • Applicants must be accepted or currently enrolled into either a full-time accredited undergraduate degree program or accredited technical/trade school and have a demonstrated financial need
  • Applicants should be well rounded students and destined to do well in their chosen field, as demonstrated by their work ethic and/or participation in community and school activities

Preference shall be given as follows:

  • Applicants that are a graduating senior(s) from Clinton, Columbia, Lycoming, Montour, Northumberland, Tioga, Snyder, Sullivan, or Union County pursuing a career in aviation, including but not limited to technical certification as an aircraft & power plant mechanic (A&P), an avionics technician, pilot training leading to advanced certifications, air traffic controller or aeronautical engineer
  • Priority shall be given to a student who resides in Lycoming County
  • Applicants that have graduated from a Clinton, Columbia, Lycoming, Montour, Northumberland, Tioga, Snyder, Sullivan, or Union County private or public school, or an accredited home school or cyber school currently pursuing a career in aviation, including but not limited to technical certification as an aircraft & power plant mechanic (A&P), an avionics technician, pilot training leading to advanced certifications, air traffic controller or aeronautical engineer
  • Priority shall be given to a student who resides in Lycoming County
  • Previously awarded scholarship recipients may reapply for up to three (3) additional years
  • If in any year there are no applicants who are pursuing a career in aviation, preference shall be given to a graduating senior from a Lycoming County high school

  • Clinton, Lycoming or Sullivan County Public School graduating senior or currently enrolled student
  • Plans to attend or currently attend an accredited college, university, or vocational institution of higher education
  • Plans to pursue a degree in a construction-related field of study
  • Must have achieved a B average
  • Preference shall be given to applicants who are currently a member of a Student Chapter of the National Association of Home Builders. This chapter must have elected officers and a demonstrated program of activities.

  • Preference will be given to residents of Centre, Clinton, Columbia, Juniata, Lycoming, Mifflin, Montour, Northumberland, Perry, Snyder, Sullivan or Union County
  • Secondary preference will be given to students of Pennsylvania College of Technology, Williamsport, PA
  • Must demonstrate through an essay their appreciation for the forest and wood products industry
