Qualifications

  • Attend, full-time, an undergraduate program at Lycoming College, Williamsport, PA
  • Will have exhibited good citizenship and community involvement, be a leader with a sense of humor, be grounded, show tolerance of others, is honest, has integrity, and makes a difference in the school community
  • Will have an unmet financial need
  • Other than a strong potential for success, such factors as class rank and grade point average will not be criteria in making a selection unless in the judgment of the selection committee such factors are needed to distinguish between multiple potential candidates
  • Award paid over 4 years as long as recipient remains in good academic standing at Lycoming College, Williamsport, PA
  • Deadline April 1

Qualifications

  • Plans to attend or currently attend an accredited institution of higher education and pursuing a degree in a forestry-related field of study, which may include Forest Technology
  • Preference will be given to residents of Centre, Clinton, Columbia, Juniata, Lycoming, Mifflin, Montour, Northumberland, Perry, Snyder, Sullivan or Union County
  • Secondary preference will be given to students of Pennsylvania College of Technology, Williamsport, PA
  • Must demonstrate through an essay their appreciation for the forest and wood products industry
