Qualifications

  • Attend an accredited institution of higher education
  • Plans to pursue major coursework in the area of Elementary or Secondary Education
  • Have a four-year overall minimum grade average of 85%
  • Demonstrates involvement in community service, extra-curricular activities, and financial need
  • Selection shall not be discriminatory on the basis of gender, race, religion, or similar characteristics of applicants
  • Deadline April 1

Qualifications

  • Plans to attend or currently attend an accredited institution of higher education and pursuing a degree in a forestry-related field of study, which may include Forest Technology
  • Preference will be given to residents of Centre, Clinton, Columbia, Juniata, Lycoming, Mifflin, Montour, Northumberland, Perry, Snyder, Sullivan or Union County
  • Secondary preference will be given to students of Pennsylvania College of Technology, Williamsport, PA
  • Must demonstrate through an essay their appreciation for the forest and wood products industry
