Pearls with a Passion

Pearls with a Passion

Pearls with a Passion is a women’s giving society.  This initiative brings women together with a common goal – to create powerful communities through passionate giving®.  This fund empowers women to get involved, unites women across our region, impacts lives forever, celebrates the role of women in our community and inspires others to give.

Pearls with a Passion members make an annual contribution of $250 or more. Pearl Members are invited to the annual Pearls with a Passion dinner in December.  At this event, members vote for the grant area of interest for the following year.  Each year, six (6) randomly selected members join the Infinity Pearls to review grant applications.

With a lifetime giving of $25,000 to the Pearls with a Passion Fund, members become Infinity Pearls. Infinity Pearls establish the demographical area for granting.  Infinity Pearls define grantmaking criteria and finalize grant recommendations. At the annual dinner, Infinity Pearls vote to determine the grant area of interest for the coming year.

Pearls with a Passion has provided $129,000 to 40 programs in Lycoming and Union Counties.
