Funding Opportunities
Our grants are made possible by the foresight, generosity and compassion of individuals, families and organizations who understand the power of endowed funding. Our donors’ legacies live on through Community Foundation grants that enhance the quality of life in our community for generations to come.

Most applications can be filled out online and then electronically submitted. Once the application is completely filled out, a copy can be saved to your computer and then emailed to BettyG@fcfpartnership.org. Please note, applications cannot be edited once saved.
GRANTMAKING OPPORTUNITIES CURRENTLY AVAILABLE:
Emergency Grants
The Emergency Grant program is designed to provide the First Community Foundation Partnership of Pennsylvania the flexibility to respond to major events impacting nonprofit organizations serving residents of Lycoming County.
Emergencies could be defined as problems created by weather disasters, crime related issues such as vandalism or burglary, unforeseen financial hardships as the result of a tremendous increase in community need, or a variety of other unpredictable situations.
Emergency grant requests will be accepted on a rolling deadline throughout the year until funds are expended.
Competitive Community Grants
Competitive Community Grants at the First Community Foundation Partnership of Pennsylvania are competitive unrestricted grants to support requests of $10,001 and over from registered nonprofit organizations serving residents in Williamsport & Lycoming County. These unrestricted dollars are to assist a broad range of charitable projects, serving organizations with missions relating to arts & culture, education, health & human services, youth, environment & economic development and supports requests for capital improvements, equipment & technology and program enhancements.
A letter of intent must be submitted in order to be considered for a full grant application. Organizations with approved letters of intent will be notified to submit a full application.
Letters of Intent must be received by August 1
Ganister Orthodox Foundation Fund
The Ganister Orthodox Foundation Fund of the First Community Foundation Partnership of Pennsylvania was founded in 2001. The fund was created to preserve and perpetuate the teaching, mission, and ministry of the Orthodox Church in America or its canonical successors and its correlative institutions, organizations, agencies and ministries.
Application deadline is July 31
Plunkett’s Creek Township Foundation Fund
The Plunkett’s Creek Township Foundation Fund was created by Charles S. Whipple through his bequest after his death in 1943. The fund came to the First Community Foundation Partnership Pennsylvania in 1973.
The fund was established to assist the needy and to foster the moral, educational, recreational and social interests of the people living in and adjacent to the Township.
